Growing up in London, Tayo was inspired by iconic superheroes like Spider-Man, Batman, and the X-Men, but noticed a lack of heroes that reflected his city and culture. Determined to change that, he created one of the first Black London-based superheroes, Mr Karma, in 2010.

Building on that vision, Tayo founded Coooys Studios to bring original stories to life, starting with TREKS — a coming-of-age superhero story set in London. With a focus on authentic representation, cinematic storytelling, and bold new ideas, Tayo is on a mission to create a new generation of heroes from London for a global audience.
