Meet the creator
Growing up in London, Tayo was inspired by iconic superheroes like Spider-Man, Batman, and the X-Men, but noticed a lack of heroes that reflected his city and culture. Determined to change that, he created one of the first Black London-based superheroes, Mr Karma, in 2010.
Building on that vision, Tayo founded Coooys Studios to bring original stories to life, starting with TREKS — a coming-of-age superhero story set in London. With a focus on authentic representation, cinematic storytelling, and bold new ideas, Tayo is on a mission to create a new generation of heroes from London for a global audience.
My day couldn't be made any better than receiving such a masterpiece of artwork and crafted storytelling!! I have immediately devoured the story and am patiently (impatiently), awaiting the next installment

I’ve really enjoyed the first instalment, and I’m looking forward to the next one.

I'm from London, and I feel this comic book is much needed. We need to see more heroes from the UK. Can't wait for the next instalment
